Vexon Audio releases ROAR – Analog-Inspired Bass Processor for Weight, Punch and Mix-Ready Low-End (VST3 & AU)

27th May 2026

Vexon Audio has announced the release of ROAR, a modern analog-inspired bass processor designed to enhance low-end weight, punch, harmonics, articulation, and mix presence for bass guitar, synth bass, and low-frequency focused production.

Designed from the perspective of both a bass player and audio developer, ROAR was created to solve one of the most common problems in modern production: achieving a bass tone that feels powerful, clear, controlled, and audible in a mix without relying on multiple plugins and complicated processing chains.

ROAR combines dynamics control, harmonic enhancement, transient shaping, low-end sculpting, and parallel-style processing into a streamlined workflow-oriented interface capable of moving from subtle bass polish to aggressive modern bass tone shaping.

The processor includes four Character modes including ROUND, DEEP, GROWL, and TIGHT, each designed to reshape the behaviour, response, and tonal balance of the bass signal for different musical applications, ranging from smooth vintage warmth and deep sustained low-end to aggressive growl and tight modern punch.
