AudioBrain updates MixBrain to v2.0.3 and releases GainBrain Free / Pro and IronPath Free

AudioBrain has updated MixBrain to v2.0.3, and released three new tools: GainBrain Free, GainBrain Pro and IronPath Free.
MixBrain
MixBrain v2.0.3 is the latest maintenance update of MixBrain, a mix-preparation plugin system designed to help you make coordinated decisions across multiple tracks before the actual mixing stage.
Instead of acting like a one-click mastering or mixing processor, MixBrain is built around a Node + Master workflow. Nodes analyze individual tracks, while the Master plugin gives you a wider overview of masking, balance, density, transient behavior, width, and track priority.
GainBrain Series
AudioBrain also released a new gain-staging focused toolset:
- GainBrain Free: A free gain-staging utility for preparing tracks before mixing. It helps you check and adjust levels using VU, RMS, and Peak references.
- GainBrain Pro: The expanded version of GainBrain Free. It adds more detailed gain-staging control and analog-print style processing for users who want both level preparation and subtle tonal coloration in one workflow.
- IronPath Free: A free analog-path style processor. It is designed to add subtle density, roundness, and a slight "passed through hardware" feel without turning into a heavy distortion effect.
Pricing & Availability
GainBrain Pro is normally $59, but it is currently available for $39 as an introductory price until June 18, 2026.
The free versions, GainBrain Free and IronPath Free, are also available, so you can try the workflow before considering the Pro version.
All plugins are available for macOS VST3 / AU; Apple Silicon / Intel Universal Binary.

Windows and AAX versions are not available yet, but they are on the future roadmap.
