Portway DSP has released PingPan, a physics-driven auto-panner with a ping-pong delay and a sweepable filter.
The ball's position drives the sound. The X-axis provides the stereo pan, while the Y-axis sweeps a resonant filter, fed through a ping-pong delay.
PingPan also lets you play Pong directly in your DAW. Tap the logo to enter Game Mode and control the paddle with your mouse, or with any MIDI instrument, where the highest and lowest notes you play set the top and bottom position for the paddle.
PingPan is available now for $9 as VST3 and AU plugins and a standalone app for macOS and Windows.
