discoDSP updates FX Bundle to v3.9 with new TC Finalizer modelled plugin

discoDSP has updated FX Bundle to v3.9 adding Finalizer, a complete one-window mastering chain modelled on the classic TC Finalizer, joining the bundle for the first time.

FX Bundle is a collection of ten audio plugins for mixing, mastering and sound design: Distortion, EQ10, FFT Analyzer, Finalizer, NightShine 2, Samurai Delay, Schroeder Reverb, Scope, Spectrum and ThrillMe 3.

Finalizer runs your mix through a fixed serial order of eight stages — input, de-esser, gate, three-band multiband compressor, five-band parametric EQ, look-ahead brick-wall limiter, soft clipper and output — entirely oversampled, to get a mix to finished, competitive loudness inside a single plugin instead of stacking six.

What's New

• Eight-Stage Mastering Chain: Input, de-esser, gate, three-band multiband compressor, five-band parametric EQ, look-ahead brick-wall limiter and soft clipper in a fixed order mirroring the TC Finalizer signal flow, every stage oversampled to keep crossovers, dynamics and clipping free of aliasing.
• Auto-Makeup Gain: Automatic makeup gain implemented to the original TC Finalizer spec, so pushing the chain harder raises loudness without chasing output level by hand.
• 30 Factory Presets: A full library reproducing the classic TC Finalizer 96K program material, from transparent mastering to loud, streaming-ready masters. Every parameter is fully DAW-automatable.
• Adaptive Oversampling: 4x during real-time playback for efficient tracking and mixing, automatically stepping up to 8x for offline bounce and render so final exports get the cleanest possible processing.
• Horizontal Metering Panel: Peak-hold input/output metering with cell-level ballistic smoothing, plus SOFTCLIP, LIM and Normalizer LED indicators showing which protection stages are engaging.
• Resizable Interface: The plugin window scales proportionally with a raised maximum size and reliable size recall across sessions, over a cached gradient-and-vignette background.
• Stability: Fixes for IIR crossover and limiter crashes during preset switching (including on ARM64), NaN/denormal and division-by-zero guards throughout the chain, corrected multiband low-end behaviour, and elimination of an audio-thread heap allocation and a metering data race for glitch-free real-time performance.
• Licensing: Finalizer joins the bundle's serial activation with demo restrictions consistent with ThrillMe, Schroeder and NightShine — the demo runs in real time while bounce and offline rendering are disabled until activated.
