Celemony releases Melodyne Sound Library: trumpet

28th March 2007

Celemony Software has announced the imminent release of the new Melodyne Sound Library "trumpet" for the multi-track editions of Melodyne: Melodyne cre8 and Melodyne studio. The DVD will be available from mid-April onwards and costs €139 ($159).

The 1,500+ first-class trumpet and flugelhorn licks and phrases in different styles employ a wide variety of playing techniques and have been specially designed and carefully optimized for use with Melodyne. Thanks to Melodyne technology, these can be freely adapted to the musical context by editing their melodic content, tonality, phrasing, rhythm and tempo.

To create the MSL "trumpet", more than 1.5 GB of phrases were recorded by renowned studio musicians using the finest equipment; both the performances and the recordings are of the highest quality. All the samples were recorded in 24-bit resolution and no effects or dynamic processing were applied to the samples during recording to leave users maximum freedom during the subsequent processing stage.

The Melodyne Sound Library is the ideal complement to Melodyne for all users wishing to work with something more than their own material. It provides the perfect raw material for productions of all kinds – material that is infinitely malleable and can be adapted to fit the context without losing its musicality in the process.

The Melodyne Sound Library currently comprises the following titles: "saxophone", "electric bass", "guitar", "horns", "the voice Vol. 1", "the voice Vol. 2" and the new "trumpet". All titles run with Melodyne cre8 and studio from Version 3.1 onwards and are available from music dealers as well as the Celemony Web Shop for €139 ($159) each.
