Image Line releases Deckadance

8th May 2007

Image Line Software has announced the release of Deckadance, a fully featured DJ mixing application in which creative DJ performance is the key design philosophy. Deckadance can be controlled using most (if not all) existing MIDI controllers and time-coded vinyl and CD systems. It works either as a standalone program or as a VSTi plugin inside a VST host. Deckadance can also host any VST-compliant softsynth or effect.

Image Line Software brings more than 10 years of experience in DSP and writing/managing audio software to the DJ software market. Their expertise in music production software is reflected in Deckadance through a variety of creative tools usually reserved for sequencer applications such as sampling, pitch shifting, time stretching, VST effects and instruments, sequencing and relooping.

Key features:

Deckadance is available now for Windows (2000, XP, Vista) for an introductory price of $149 (during the month of May ONLY). Regular retail pricing will be $179. A Mac OS X version will be released shortly.

A fully functional demo version is available.
