Intermorphic has released noatikl (pronounced "noh - tickle"), a new generative music system by Pete Cole and Tim Cole, creators of the 2001 BAFTA-award winning SSEYO Koan Interactive Audio Platform, and the 2005 BAFTA-award winning SSEYO miniMIXA.
noatikl creates musical information in the form of MIDI notes, and can also generate and send MIDI controller information to control settings of synths, FX units and samplers.
There are noatikl variants available for both Windows and Mac OS X, including plugin versions for Logic (AU), Sonar (VSTi, DXi/MFX MIDI Effect), Cubase (VSTi, MIDI Effect), Ableton Live (VSTi), Reaper (VSTi), etc. as well as a standalone version, very useful in its own right, for where there is no suitable plugin variant, e.g. Pro Tools.
