Plughugger has released Dark Ambient, an ambient soundset for the Access Virus TI synthesizer which sets the focus on cinematic textures, atmospheres and characteristic pads. Utilizing most of the synthesis techniques offered by the Virus TI, from analog warmth to digital FM and wavetables, combined with large reverbs and organic delays, the result is a soundset full of evolving and dark spacious sounds.
This library was made to create instant inspiration to producers of cinematic soundtracks as well as traditional ambient music genres, but it is suitable for any musical genre where you would like to add an element of darkness to.
Dark Ambient contains 128 sounds in the following categories:
- Pads - 66 presets.
- Atmospheres - 38 presets.
- Leads - 20 presets.
- Arpeggios - 4 presets.
