[BEN/SCHULZ] releases "Spectrum" - Free Spectrum Analyser Plugin

[BEN/SCHULZ]

Plugin Developer BEN/SCHULZ has released a free multichannel spectrum analyser named Spectrum.

The spectra can be displayed in realtime or as a spectrogram and supports all the features one would expect from an audio spectrum analyser.

The free version features up to four channels. An upgrade to sixteen channels is available as well.

Spectrum supports VST2, VST3, AU and Pro Tools (AAX) on 32/64-bit Mac and Windows DAWs.

Price:

  • Four Channels: Free.
  • Sixteen Channels: $24.99.

Create a cool glitchy freeze effect on the audio when inserted on a stereo bus in logic. However, i dont think a metering plug is supposed to do that....

I get +10db volume gain inserting an instance on the channel in Logic Pro X and it seems to be very CPU intense, like iskross mentioned, heavy drops and glitches on both, MIDI and audio files.

Looks cool although latest version (1.0.47) is adding gain and altering the sound. Logic 10.3.1, 10.11.6.

Hi, .

I've just uploaded a new beta of Spectrum 1.0.50 for mac with several bugfixes and improvements:

- fixed crash in Pro Tools at startup
- implemented "zero routing" for better compatibility and ease of use
- channel buttons now have the same colour as the graphs.
