App Sound releases Synthesis Run for Arturia MicroFreak and Inspirator for Korg microKorg with Introductory Prices
App Sound has released Synthesis Run, a sound set for the Arturia MicroFreak, and Inspirator, a sound set for the hardware synths Korg microKorg and microKorg S. They cost €15 each but are currently available with introductory pricing.
Synthesis Run features presets designed to show the tonal flexibility of the MicroFreak synthesizer. There are digital sounds and analog sound colours. All 70 sounds are carefully designed and take advantage of the complete synthesis engine of the MicroFreak.

- 70 new presets for Arturia MicroFreak (preset number 185 – 256, the factory sounds are still available) based on the Arpeggiator using more than 10 oscillator types (FM, VAnalog, SuperWave, Karpus Strong, Formant, Modal, Chords, BasicWaves, WaveShaper, Wavetable).
- Styles: Electronic, Dance, Techno, Retro.
Inspirator is a sound set for the hardware synths Korg microKorg and microKorg S. The programs show the tonal flexibility of this synthesizer musically – especially in retro styles. There are useful programs for live gigs as well as inspiring arpeggiator sounds for producing new tracks in your studio. All 100 sounds are carefully designed and take advantage of the complete synthesis engine (except the vocoder) of the microKorg. It's a good starting point for creating your own pads, leads or musical arpeggios and phrases.
