ExperimentalScene has updated DarkWave Studio to v5.9.3.
This release adds a CPU usage monitor to the machine container. A machine container is what holds instances of VST plugins and native DarkWave Studio plugins. The new graph shows CPU use and can be clicked like a button to pause the machine's processing.
Seeing a rough indication of CPU use and being able to pause offending plugins can help diagnose latency problems caused by plugins which require more CPU time to process than is available on the users computer.
To install or update to the new version users may download the free DarkWave Studio setup program for Windows from the ExperimentalScene website.
