pegelWERK has updated overdub Studio, its focused voiceover DAW for macOS and iPad, to version 1.1.1. The release broadens the app beyond video work and moves more processing on-device.
overdub Studio is built for adding voice to video and getting a broadcast-ready result fast, without a studio and without a sound engineer. Load the video, read from the built-in prompter, record, and Auto Edit, Auto Audio and Auto Mix handle the cleanup in one pass at R128 loudness. The export embeds the finished mix straight into the source video, ready to air.
Version 1.1.1 adds an audio-only mode for podcasts and audiobooks with no video required, on-device neural noise removal based on DeepFilterNet 3 (no external plug-in, no upload), and a manual channel strip (Monitor, Noise, Comp, Air, Body) for users who want to take over from the automatic processing. The built-in prompter is now available on both macOS and iPad.
