Arvital Soft has updated AudioRoute to v0.1.13, a quality-of-life update focused on the recording workflow.
Changes:
- Global hotkey to toggle recording: Defaults: Cmd+Shift+R on macOS, Ctrl+Alt+R on Windows. Rebindable from the Advanced settings panel.
- Discard in-progress recording: New button next to Stop while recording — aborts the take and deletes the WAV file (with confirmation).
- Real-time peak meters in the tray popup and the floating overlay: Buffer-rate updates with smooth release, reading peaks directly from the shared-memory ring buffer (same architecture as the VST plugin).
- UI polish: Current hotkey shown in the popup header, icon-only overlay buttons, cleaner separation between Stop and Discard.
Existing users on 0.1.12 will receive the update via Sparkle (macOS) or WinSparkle (Windows) within 24 hours of the next app launch.
