Aurally Sound has updated Song Master to version 2.1. For this release, they've focused on improving their song sectioning algorithm and added a new sub-sections track.
Song Master provides a suite of tools and analyzers designed to help you learn and practice songs directly from the recording. Advanced algorithms analyze and determine chords, song sections, measures, key, BPM, and time signature. Tools to slow tempo, change pitch, re-mix and mute instruments, metronome, and phrase & key trainers simplify learning.
The new machine learning algorithm creates a hierarchy of song sections. It typically creates six or seven levels of detail. This structure hierarchy starts with a coarse overview of a song (often consisting of just two sections), and adds increasing detail with each level (verse, chorus, etc. down to sub-verse/chorus sections).
