µC-Kuper has released a light edition of MIDI~Kuper, an app dedicated to live performing keyboard players that want to use a large mix of real and/or virtual instruments on stage.
Midi~Kuper integrates a user's synths into a single interface such that you can call up sounds onto a handful of keyboards of your choice, no matter where the sound originates. It's as if you had a giant synth made up of all your available instruments, real or virtual. Midi~Kuper is designed to reconfigure gear seamlessly on the fly as the user steps through their performance using your phone or tablet as a remote control.
While the light edition retains the performance management and on-the-fly gear reconfiguration capabilities of Midi~Kuper Pro, it does not support some of the more advanced features of Midi~Kuper Pro.
Both editions have recently been updated to version 1.1.4, containing improvements and bug fixes as well as a new 45-day trial period on the Pro edition, even for those who have tried earlier versions. Midi~Kuper requires Windows 7 or higher. Mac OS and iOS versions are under development and planned for later this year.
