Detunized has released Urban Crow, a sound library full of interesting sounds of single crows and swarms.
The library evolved throughout winter 2015/16 and was taken from the attic of a house surrounded by trees where the crows frequently stayed overnight. They have a huge arsenal of clearly distinguishable single caws, funny sighs or nervous screams that often evolved to a huge cluster of noises that became stronger when the church bells began to ring and the sun came up.
All of these sounds are represented in the Urban Crows library. Each file is meticulously meta-tagged. The recordings were done in Mid-Side stereo, with Sennheiser MKH-70 shotgun for a strong mid-signal and AKG-C394B for the ambience.
Urban Crows is available in three formats:
