In 2003, Discovery Sound released 8Bit Family - a sample collection of old video-games. 8Bit Family II has now been released - the 2nd edition contains over 530 MB of 16-bit, 44.1kHz recordings in ACIDized WAV, REX2, Kontakt, Battery and RNS (Reason 3.0.4) formats.
8Bit Family II includes a comprehensive range of "Construction Kits" - the 55 kits enable users to produce compositions via a combination of Drum Loops, Bass Loops, Synth Loops and Vox loops.
