Ivosight has updated Soundop, a Windows application to edit, record, mix and master audio content, to 1.2.
- Added metadata pane; enhanced metadata support for audio files.
- Fixed bugs.
With the new metadata pane, the user can show metadata tabs according to the destination audio format. It is easy to see which metadata will be saved in the native format. All metadata will be saved in SMX data which will either embed in the audio file when applicable or as standalone smx file. An option is provided in the metadata preference page to save only native metadata and to ignore SMX data.
The feature to embed ID3 data in Wave/AIFF file can be switched on/off on the metadata preference page.
The cue points will be saved in native format in Wave/AIFF file now, and if the option of save only native metadata is switched off, cue points will be saved in SMX data also, so the cue points will not be lost when switching between audio formats.
