Jamahook is a plugin that listens to your DAW project and suggests new samples to complement your music. Using artificial intelligence developed by Fraunhofer IDMT, Jamahook analyzes your material for tempo, harmony, mood, rhythm, key signature, genre and more. The result is a selection of loops that should work with your track, ready to drag out at the right tempo.
The Jamahook plugin is free to download from jamahook.com. Subscription plans start from €3.99 per month, and a one-month free trial is available.

Music producers have access to millions of samples, but finding the right one can be more like looking for a needle in a haystack. By analyzing your DAW project in its current state, Jamahook returns a selection of loops that are relevant, in-context, and musically meaningful.
Get more specific by filtering for Genre, Instrument and Mood. Tags like 'Aggressive', 'Funk', 'Bass'; or 'Relaxing', 'Jazz', 'Piano' help you zero in on exactly the sounds you're looking for.
Choose from three modes: match by Harmony (key and chord progression), Rhythm (find material in any key that matches your groove) and Drums (find beats and percussion to place under musical material).
Jamahook's artificial intelligence algorithm can detect properties of your music such as tempo (in BPM), mood (positive to negative), energy (aggressive to calm), texture (hard to soft), density (full to sparse) and more.

Jamahook's current crop of samples come from content partner Loopmasters. Jamahook aims to work with more soundware creators in future, helping others to sell their creations through the plugin.

The Fraunhofer Institute for Digital Media Technology, which conducts cutting-edge research in audio analysis, is Jamahook's Technology Partner. Together they have developed the Sound Match Algorithm that is specialized in processing loops and samples, detecting attributes such as harmony, key, emotion, arousal, mood, dynamic, distortion, percussive qualities, and others.
By matching your music's properties to the learned properties of samples in Jamahook's database, the plugin provides users with sounds that can work in a track instantly.
