Kiss-Box releases "VSTizer DSS-1" - RTP-MIDI Compatible VST Plug-in Editor for Korg DSS-1
Kiss-Box has announced the introduction of the first RTP-MIDI VST plug-in in the new VSTizer product range: VSTizer DSS-1.
VSTizer DSS-1 is a complete Editor/Librarian for the famous Korg DSS-1 synthesizer, in form of a VST plug-in. It allows complete parameter editing and full remote control over RTP-MIDI link. It also allows direct sample uploading/downloading from the synthesizer (the floppy disk is not needed anymore, even to start the DSS-1). As a VSTi, it can receive all MIDI events from the host and transmit them in real-time to the synthesizer over RTP-MIDI.
VSTizer DSS-1 is available as a free bundle plug-in for Kiss-Box Dual RTP-MIDI and Kiss-Box VSTizer hardware interfaces. A version compatible with computer legacy MIDI interfaces can also be purchased separately.
VSTizer DSS-1 is available as a VST 2.4 plug-in for Mac OS X and Windows in 32- and 64-bit formats and includes the complete bank library from original DSS-1 floppy disks (more than 400 banks).
Other VSTizers are currently being developed and tested (see the website for a preliminary list). Custom VSTizers can also be developed by Kiss-Box for any MIDI machine.
