Kuassa releases Efektor PAten 10-Band Graphic Equalizer with Protean Algorithm at Intro Price
Kuassa has announced the release of their latest plugin, Efektor PAten, a 10-band graphic equalizer designed to give audio producers precision control across the frequency spectrum. Built with a parallel architecture, Kuassa says this EQ allows for transparent, isolated adjustments to each band, making it a versatile tool for mixing and sound shaping.
What sets Efektor PAten apart, according to Kuassa, is Kuassa's proprietary Protean Algorithm. Named after Proteus, the shape-shifting sea god of Greek mythology, this algorithm adapts dynamically to frequency adjustments, ensuring that changes to the Q curve—whether boosting or cutting—remain smooth and natural. This minimizes phase issues or comb filtering, a critical factor for maintaining clarity and transparency in your mix.
The plugin features 10 frequency bands, each corresponding to a specific octave, giving users fine control over tone adjustments. It's also CPU-efficient, ensuring that even in complex sessions, performance remains unaffected.
