We are in the final two weeks of the KVR Developer Challenge 2014.
Developers, it's time to get your skates on, finalize your piece of awesomeness and get your submissions in...
Everyone, please consider making a donation to the prize fund - it's currently looking a little low compared to previous years... perhaps a sign of the times? We reached $2,360 back in 2012 but we're just a quarter of the way to that so far with just over a month to go before the winner is announced. If you've got a spare dollar or two we'd certainly appreciate it.
Anyway, we're excited to announce the addition of several prizes donated by some wonderful friends of KVR. Remember, anyone who enters, donates or votes will be eligible for the prize drawing for any of these (and more to come) prizes.
First up, Camel Audio is offering four separate prizes, including their flagship Alchemy synth:
- Alchemy is the ultimate sample manipulation synthesizer which can turn your musical dreams into reality (value $249 / €199 / £179).
- If you don't win that, an Alchemy Sound Library of the winner's choice is also up for grabs (value $59 / €49 / £39). There are loads to choose from and they all come with Alchemy Player included for free.
- CamelPhat is a powerful 'colouring' multi-effect that's been specially engineered to work wonders on guitar, bass and drums, adding warmth, punch and presence wherever they're required (value $85 / €69 / £59).
- CamelSpace can take any sound you throw at it, be it a pad, a synth line or a drum loop, and generate a dizzying array of dynamically-evolving, gated rhythmic textures. (value $85 / €69 / £59).
Stay tuned for the next prize announcement tomorrow...
