Mix Analog, the audio processing platform with remote-control and real-time audio streaming using real analog gear, has added the Elysia Xfilter to their selection of analog gear for mixing and mastering.
Mix Analog Comments:
The Elysia xfilter is a true linked stereo EQ. It gives you the expensive sound of an all class-A equalizer, with a precise stereo image based on computer-selected, stepped potentiometers and low tolerance film capacitors.
Every single of its many aspects – sound, features, circuitry, components, design, materials, manufacturing – have been thought repeatedly until there was nothing left to improve.
This EQ is serious about flexibility. It offers high and low shelf bands which can be switched into high and low cut filters with resonance, two mid peak filters with wide and narrow Q, plus additional passive LC stages with shielded coils for a glorious top end.
With its exceptionally open sound, straight transient projection and solid punch, the xfilter is a great match for the xpressor.
To use the Xfilter, log in at mixanalog.com and reserve a session for your desired time slot. When your time starts, you will get full remote access to the Xfilter through a plugin-like web interface. Any changes are instantly applied, and the processed audio is streamed back in lossless quality. When happy with the settings, bounce the track and download the results.
The Xfilter is free to use until 20th June, limited to 30 minutes per user per day. After that, the price will be 90 MAT which converts roughly to $3, depending on the purchased amount.
