Pettinhouse has announced the release of DirectBass 2.0 FREE, which is one of the four patches included in the full version of DirectBass 2.0 for Kontakt 2 or 3 as a free download. It is a reduced version of the Mid+Neck Patch - 16-bit/44Khz with one articulation (Hammer-ons). It has the same features of the full version, except it is free.
