Plughugger releases “Hydrapolarity” for Arturia Pigments

Plughugger

Plughugger has released Hydrapolarity, a cinematic soundset for Arturia Pigments designed for ambient genres, game sound development as well TV and movies.

The core of the soundset is based on 386 megabytes of samples, mainly clean recordings from the Hydrasynth - but not all. In order to create a new dimension of the sounds, Plughugger processed the sounds using the E-mu E4XT hardware sampler - specifically using the unique XMult function, which is an algorithm to mash the characteristics of two sounds together.

All Macro knobs are programmed for easy-access of core parameters, and a major part of the soundset is using granular synthesis.

While the main focus is on ambient soundscapes and textures, there are a handful of pads, effects and boomers - using the library of effects that comes with Pigments 3.

Hydrapolarity contains 177 sounds in the following categories:

  • 20 Effects.
  • 43 Pads & Strings.
  • 114 Textures & Soundscapes.

Intro price: 9.90 Euro / 50% off until March 27th, 2022. Use coupon code DARKNESS to get the discount. Ordinary price is 19.90 Euro.
