ProjectSAM has announced that it has re-released its True Strike series: True Strike "Cinematic Orchestral Percussion" and True Strike 2 "Cinematic World & Effects Percussion". Both libraries have been completely re-designed for the Kontakt format and come with Native Instruments Kontakt Player.
New features include a re-structured instrument list, a streamlined audio pool and a custom interface with onscreen ADSR control, articulation information and other options.
Following Symphobia and Orchestral Brass Classic, this completes the migration of the main ProjectSAM product line to the Kontakt Player platform, making these four libraries the ideal composer's set.
ProjectSAM's True Strike series provides percussion libraries for film, TV and game composers requiring cinematic, powerful percussion samples. True Strike, the first volume, focuses on orchestral percussion and was recorded in a beautiful concert hall environment which gives it its deep, warm sound. True Strike 2 focuses on world percussion and effects covering everything to lay down the percussion track for your next chase sequence, horror scene or ethnic flavored score.
Lowered Pricing
ProjectSAM has lowered the pricing of True Strike and True Strike 2. Both libraries are now priced at €299.99 / $399.99. A True Strike Pack containing both libraries is available for €549.99 / $799.99.
Upgrade Paths
Existing True Strike or True Strike 2 users can upgrade to the new re-released version for €39.99 / $59.99. Users who purchased a full version or upgrade of True Strike or True Strike 2 between October 1st, 2009, and January 12th, 2010, qualify for a free upgrade (excluding shipping).
