Reflekt Audio has released Playtime, a free plugin instrument for Windows and macOS developed by Daniel of Reflekt Audio who sampled a toy banjo, toy keyboard, some toy drums and a toy ukulele.
Daniel says "I sampled these toy instruments with professional precision to bring you all a unique sounding plugin."
Playtime is equipped with HQ multi blend-able microphones, essential on-board effect parameters and "a sick graphic user interface". The sounds within Playtime came from toys but the sound is raw and unique. The toy banjo and the toy ukulele both have 3 blend-able microphone layers. The toy piano and the toy drums have 6 different blend-able microphone layers. This allows the user to blend the different microphones together creating one full sound.
