SampleScience has released Organic Padscapes, a free ROMpler based on 12 field recordings whose specific frequencies have been amplified to make them tonal.
Think of it as an experimental pad machine with long field recordings that can be played as chords. The result is organic, hence the name, and rich in harmonics.
