Sergree

Sergree has released Matchering 2.0, an Open Source Containerized Web Application and Python Library for audio matching and mastering.

Everyone can install and use this app for free on their computer using Docker. All major platforms are supported: mac OS, Windows and Linux.

It follows a simple idea - you take two audio files and feed them into Matchering:

  • Target (the track you want to master, you want it to sound like the reference).
  • Reference (another track, like some kind of "wet" popular song, you want your target to sound like it).

It's algorithm matches both of these tracks and provides you the mastered Target track with the same RMS, FR, peak amplitude and stereo width as the Reference track has.

This is exactly what I've been looking for.... However, I only have Windows10 Home and you need Windows10 Professional to install Docker.. Without Docker, you can't install the app.

Hi John, thanks for your feedback! Yes, I've been getting such emails for the last few days.. Our app is very closely related to Docker now, because it is a non-commercial development with a zero budget developed by two enthusiasts. But we will try to change this in the future. Sorry for the inconvenience.
