Signum Audio has released an Audio Suite version of their loudness solution, Bute, with more updates to come.
Bute, named after the beautiful Scottish isle split between highlands and lowlands, delivers a number of unique improvements to loudness related workflows.
The AudioSuite version is the next in a line of useful features including a custom warning system, DAW Sync and automatic re-metering, and a history overview which can be easily navigated and zoomed showing areas of your audio which require attention at a glance. The meter is also able to handle very long sessions and remembers metering data when you reload your sessions, not to mention the long list of broadcasting and digital presets that continues to grow.
From Plug-in to Fully-Fledged Suite
The team are hard at work building additional tools to transform Bute into a one-stop-suite for all your loudness-related needs. Updates coming soon will include an offline normaliser and a true-peak brickwall limiter making Bute an invaluable tool for any Mastering engineer.
The Bute Loudness Analyser is available in VST / AU / AAX (including AudioSuite) formats for Windows and Mac OS X. There is a 40% introductory offer on right now for the upcoming Bute Loudness Suite. The purchase of a licence for the Loudness Analyser will entitle you to all future Bute updates. You can download a free two week trial from Signum Audio's website.
