SirenFX releases WindGen and RainGen - VST3/AU plugins for film and video game productions
SirenFX has launched a new product line of unique procedural sound design tools, starting with the release of WindGen and RainGen.
Intended for film and game productions, these plugins synthesize natural weather ambiances using no recorded samples. WindGen uses an expressive formant filter to generate wind noises with a lifelike character. Its companion product, RainGen, can generate a wide range of rain textures - from light drizzles to powerful downpours and hail.
Both plugins are available, for both Windows and macOS, from sirenfx.io at the introductory price of £25 (Reg. £40).
