Sjoerd van Kreel updates Firefly Synth to v1.8.7 - Improved platform support and realtime modulation visualization
Sjoerd van Kreel has updated the free Firefly Synth to v1.8.7.
The changelog includes:
- Modulation visualizers: active parameter modulation, LFO, envelope and CV matrix state is now communicated from the audio engine to the UI.
- Platform support: lowered minimum macOS version from 14 to 10.15. Lowered minimum Ubuntu version from 22 to 18. (Actually, glibc from 2.29 to 2.25, so this should benefit other distros as well).
- New FX type: Added a (very basic) multiband EQ.
- New modulation targets: oscillator phase (for PM), oscillator unison phase (was already there, but not modulatable).
