Soundtrack Loops has announced their first free, or name your price, Covid-19 relief stimulus pack "Carlos Villalobos Jr Guitar Styles.

Producers can download the pack for free or enter a price they are willing to pay to help support the artist. The free option is available for those who are financially struggling due to the Corona Virus situation.

With Carlos Villalobos Jr. Guitar Styles, you get 74 loops spread across 10 construction kits in two categories: Heavy Soul, and Moody Soul. Each kit contains a solid rhythm section foundation of bass, drums, and percussion, and then, guitars—lots and lots of expertly played electric guitars that cover a swath of the modern music spectrum, from blues-based rock, to funk, pop, and even prog.

Every sound on Guitar Styles has its own built-in tone with instantly recognizable classic vibe. Crunchy, bone-dry signature rock riffs, clean and crisp single-note funk/soul rhythm patterns, echo-drenched dream pop guitar pads and more, are presented here in bite-sized riffs.

Soundtrack Loops says:

You're in good hands with Grammy-nominated musician, producer and label owner Carlos Villalobos—you've heard his work on FOX, NBC, HBO, Alistar Records, and elsewhere. That's why, when you hear the sounds on Guitar Styles, you get that straight-up, no-nonsense feeling that you're dealing with genuine, authentic, mass-appeal rock and pop music that's got its root down in the culture.

Put Guitar Styles in your toolbox and use it with confidence—the music you make with it will carry the halo of genuine rock—the tone, the vibe, and all the notes that resonate best in the vernacular—the natural language of rock, pop, and soul guitars.

Features:

  • 74 loops.

Formats (24-bit 48kHz Stereo):

  • ACIDized .wav.
  • Apple-looped .aif.

Guitar Styles is available to download for free until May 31st 2020 from the Soundtrack Loops website here. After May 31st the price will be $19.
