Spitfire Audio has announced availability of ÓLafur Arnalds Chamber Evolutions.
Spitfire Audio joined forces with BAFTA-winning composer Ólafur Arnalds (Broadchurch, Kiasmos, Erased Tapes) to record an all-star ensemble performing his latest set of evolutions. Here, the 4,3,3,3,3 ensemble of British players (Violin I + II, Viola, Cello, Double Bass) led by long-term collaborator Viktor Orri Árnason perform a range of fragile yet warm beautifully evolving phrases, recorded at the world-famous Hall in Air Studios (London).
With Spitfire Audio's Evo Grid technology, this library makes it easy to create sophisticated chamber strings music from the most simplistic of arrangements - just a few sustained notes is all you need to write inspiring dynamic textures.
Spitfire Audio also introduce Waves: a new innovation featuring notes that move along a wave-like dynamic arc, appearing from nothing, swelling, and then dying away again to nothing. These are accessible via the classic interface, in various styles and lengths.
ÓLafur Arnalds Chamber Evolutions can be purchased and downloaded (as 30.5 GB of uncompressed .WAV files, featuring 15,156 samples) for a time-limited introductory promo price of £189.00 GBP (inc. VAT) / $219.00 USD / €219.00 EUR (inc. VAT) until February 8, 2018 — rising thereafter to an MSRP of £249.00 GBP (inc. VAT) / $299.00 USD / €299 EUR (inc. VAT).
ÓLafur Arnalds Chamber Evolutions needs Native Instruments' free Kontakt Player (5.6.8) to run as a fully NKS (Native Kontrol Standard) supporting plug-in instrument for Mac or Windows.
