Strezov Sampling has released Tupans X3M, a sample set of Tupans. The Tupan is a traditional Bulgarian drum played with a beater and a stick at the same time.
Tupans X3M was recorded in the Sofia Session Studio with different ensemble sizes (a8, a3, Solo), and is designed to produce the articulations to perform traditional Tupan rhythms with cinematic sound. It contains advanced playing styles with brushes, damped beaters, mallets and more.
It also includes three different sound design percussion sets with ensembles, impacts, and neutral sounding percussive sound effects intended for any style of music. The sounds were created from the sample material of Tupans X3M and Strezov Sampling's Thunder X3M percussion suite.
