Synapse Audio releases 64-bit versions of Toxic, Hydra, Scorpion, Plucked String and Poly-850

Synapse Audio has announced that native 64-bit versions of all of its Windows VST instrument plug-ins are available now to all registered users, free of charge.

The 64-bit editions offer substantial performance gains over the 32-bit editions:

• Toxic (1.4x more performance)
• Hydra (1.7x more performance)
• Scorpion (1.2x more performance)
• Plucked String (1.3x more performance)
• Poly-850 (1.8x more performance)

The measurements were made using the default patch at maximum polyphony in the 32- and 64-bit editions of Synapse Audio's Orion.

The 64-bit plugin editions have been tested in Cubase 5, Orion 64 and Sonar 64.
