The Very Loud Indeed Co. has announced the release of Oblique III: Dark Violin Explorations, their new instrument for Native Instruments' Kontakt 6.8+ sampler.
They say:
Oblique III is the third chapter in the company's Oblique series of solo string libraries, focused on creating moods typical of genres like thrillers, dark drama and horror. It features symphonic violinist Ingrid Solano conjuring haunting, tortured and emotionally damaged sounds out of her instrument.
This is not a violin library meant for composing romantic comedies or beautiful heartwarming pieces. It's meant to put darkness and madness at your fingertips, to underline scenes that portray fear, anxiety and hopelessness.
Features:
- 603 sound files at 24-bit / 48 kHz resolution in a compact 2.9 GB footprint.
- 9 violin articulations: Long Sul Tasto, Staccato, one whole step downwards Glissando, Glissando harmonics, Tremolo Glissando harmonics, Circular bowing, Crunches, Col Legno fortissimo and body taps as percussion elements.
- Clean, intuitive and fast GUI.
Intro Price: $47 until August 22nd, 2024 (Reg. $79).
