Time Off Audio has released dime [tt], a plugin-hosting plugin that splits the input signal into transient and tonal elements and allows the user to load their own effects (VST3/AU) over either part of the signal.
The user can customize the split using Sensitivity and Decay controls, each side can be auditioned, the split sides' outputs can be balanced, and a Mix control is available for each plugin stack.
Every care has been taken to make the plugin scanning process as quick and nonintrusive as possible.

- Split audio into transient and tonal portions.
- Plugin hosting – Load your own plugins over each side of the split.
- Tweak the detection of transients with Sensitivity and Decay.
- Balance signal between splits, audition splits.
- Mix controls for each stack of plugins.
