Wavesfactory has released a new sample library called "Classic Rock Drums" for Kontakt.
A Ludwig Vistalite drum kit was sampled with 6 round robin and 6 velocity layers. On every mic you have the real and natural bleeding of the other parts of the drum kit. As you can hear on the audio demos below, through the mics you hear exactly what is recorded in a real studio situation. In other words, when you play a key, the sound comes from each of the 8 mics, so there's 8 files playing. You can control volume, pan and tune of each mic right in the GUI.
It's available for Kontakt 3.5 with a special Kontakt 4 patch (with custom GUI elements) and Kontakt Multi-instrument for having each mic on different MIDI channels.
