Xtant Audio has released CZ-Alpha, a Kontakt 4-based synthesizer sample library that contains 100 synth patches built on an original Casio CZ-101 phase distortion synthesizer. The patches are divided in 4 Kontakt instruments.
CZ-Alpha's user interface provides control over a selection of effects, including portamento glide, chorus, reverb, and an LFO. The library also gives you access to a standard ADSR envelope, two filters, sample start position control, and features a built in 32 step arpeggiator.
Each of the 100 patches can be controlled independently and remembers its own settings, allowing you to totally customise the instrument and recall all of your customisations with ease. There is also the option to globally control all of the patches in each instrument at once, providing maximum flexibility.
