Yellow Tools has released version 1.0.4 of Independence. This update contains new features and several improvements, including:
- Compatibility with Logic 7.2, Digital Performer and ProTools 7.x.
- Optimized for live performances: To accelerate loading times and thus your work, the “pre-cache” option has been integrated. You can pre-load Layers into Independence which are available immediately when you activate them - without any additional loading time and no additionally required RAM (like streaming) or other system resources. Combined with the new "MIDI program change" feature you can switch between the currently loaded Layer patches directly with your MIDI keyboard in real time.
- Also improved is the entire "Slice Mode" with an automatic BPM calculation.
- For a better overview and control also a MIDI indicator and a MIDI panic button is now included.
The German Independence 1.0.4 manual and the Independence brochure are also now available for download.
Majestic goes Independence: All registered users of Majestic and Independence can now download free "compatibility patches" in their Yellow Tools User Area.
