Bring Out Your New Axe
Guitar Fury is an extensive 43 GB collection of nearly 600 multi-sampled guitars and guitar-inspired instrument presets.
This is cinematic diversity at its finest, featuring multi-sampled performances captured by guitar impresario Steve Ouimette and programmed to perfection by the Sample Logic team.
Think you know guitar libraries? Think again. Guitar Fury is no traditional multi-sampled guitar library. It goes far beyond with every preset meticulously produced and dressed in glorious creative effects, resulting in a cinematic sound that blurs the line between music and sound design.
From this massive virtual instrument arises a straight to the point user driven musical tool designed with a fresh and modern easy-to-use interface.

I purchased Guitar Fury at the introductory price based on the promo video and audio samples. It sounded great.
I had a horrible time getting this plugin to work on my Windows 10 system with Kontakt 6.2.2. I followed the vendor's installation instructions and video explicitly. The NKI would load, but it couldn't find the Samples folder. I discovered that I had to do a Batch re-save to associate the location of the Samples folder so it didn't complain at startup. Because I use OneDrive to backup my critical files and folders, the folder path in the instructions didn't work. I ended up having to copy the Guitar Fury presets folder to C:Users\OneDriveDocumentsNative InstrumentsKontakt, then everything worked. The Sample Logic tech support representative was responsive, but ultimately useless in determining the solution.
First impression is that the sounds are rich, detailed and well-recorded with plenty of effect options, but I question whether there are enough useful patches to justify the 40GB+ of drive space that is required.
Read ReviewI had similar problems installing on a Mac, soon neatly and instantly solved when Sample Logic sent me a replacement .nki to swap in; all better now:).
I agree that 40 G is so far hard to justify, but the deep pleasure I'm already getting out the few examples I've been able to deeply explore in the few days I've had this thing amply justify the 5 stars I plan to give it in my own review.
I hope your annoyance at these early-days tech snafus will fade quickly from memory now that it's working as expected, allowing you, too, to perhaps start to feel that this is a total winner, at a far more approachable price than is typical from Sample Logic, as I do:).
