Pedalboard2 is a VST (plus AudioUnit on OS X) plug-in host designed for live use. Based on the JUCE 'audio plug-in host' code, heavily modified.

Key Features:

  • Modular patching.
  • All plug-in parameters can be manipulated in real time via MIDI CCs or Open Sound Control messages.
  • Any number of patches can be queued up and rapidly switched.

This application works seamlessly as a real time VST Host. You can even save your setups as presets... which is why I wonder why the developer hasn't completed the work by including a VST plugin, for use in one's DAW, with access to the same effects chains one uses in real time, and outside the DAW. Even without the desirous features, this gets a five star rating from me.
