In comparison to Vocaloid and similar products trying to synthesize the human voice, Emvoice uses real recorded singers.
Therefore it sounds a billion times more realistic than the above. Despite the clear and simple workflow the results are great and you can use all tools for vocal enhancement in the way you do it with every other real recorded voice.
If you will use a word that was'nt recorded (a very rare case!) you can build it with the available phonems.
And if you plan to make a song for youtube, you dont even have to subtitle it like the Vocaloid users because it is no problem to make out the lyrics if Jay or Lucy are your singers.;-)
I give 5 stars because of the very authentic sound in comparison to the competitors. I would give 4 stars for the workflow because there is some room for improvements .e.g. zooming in the piano roll is fiddly because the zoom in shortcut did not work (Mulab, Windows 10).
But I am sure this will be fixed in further versions.
My suggestion: Give the demo a try!

Both VST and VST3 get blacklisted in Cubase 10 and will not authorize in Logic X on my MAC Pro mid 2010, Sierra. No respons on mails to developers.

Finally: Got an answer from the developer that I needed High Sierra to run it. My bad. Disregard the one star. Perhaps it is a five star. I do not know. I corrected it to a 4 star. Deducted one star due to very long response time. Have no clue if that is correct but in all honesty I could not let the one star remain.

Well not a real singer, but on the other hand, the voice doesn't irritate either. I'm even making a little song with the demo, and while doing it I found that the space between words in a phrase needs to be adjustable (example: I want__that____love, where each _ denotes a short time unit of silence). I could construct the timing in the passage through single words of cause, not bound into a phrase, but then the passage sounds odd.
