Starburst K/ST

This collection is released for either Kontakt/SFZ/WAV or Sampletank, a hand crafted selection of pads created on the Virus TI Synthesizer. The TI is a superb synthesizer for creating organic sounding Pads and this collection is an opportunity to replicate this sound inside your sampler. Each instrument is made up of at least 5 multi-samples ensuring smooth transitions across the instrument. Whilst this is primarily a pads collection the instruments are mostly designed to be melodic so that they are useful across the board wherever lush synths are required. For Kontakt and Sampletank, there are many child presets which make good use of the supported sample engines.

Starbust K also makes use of the unique HGS synth front end 'Kosmos' developed for Kontakt using Kontakt's scripting language. It basically creates a dual oscillator synthesizer within Kontakt where the sample collection become the selectable waveforms. Each oscillator has a unique AMP Envelope, waveform and Filter type, as well as an overall Filter Envelope and an LFO. There is also an effects section using a Delay, Reverb and a Modulator, selectable between Flanger, Phaser and Chorus. It is efficiently scripted so that any sections/modules not in use are disabled to conserve CPU. The emphasis is on workflow with a randomize button which has various different modes for creating presets on the fly very quickly, with the idea that this way of creating sounds interferes with the creative workflow less than scrolling through presets, and also ends up with a much more unique preset.

There is also a Gate Sequencer with many different modes and randomization for On/Off, Velocity and Note Length.
