Approximates a rack of three Doepfer Dark Energy, plus a 3x8 / 2x16 stepLFO. Combines features of the DE I and II: Tri/Pulse/Saw waveforms and 4-pole Low Pass as in DE I; Multimode Filter as in DE II.
Each module is a complete 'voice' and contains a VCO, VCF, VCA, ADSR and two LFOs. Envelopes have two time ranges; LFOs, three rate ranges (up to audio rate).
Each 'synth voice' has it's own Pitch Bend range and Glide controls, and stereo pan. For visual clarity, the modules are labeled A, B, C, D and are color-coded alternately.
Each module's LFO 1, Envelope and audio out can be patched to any of the patch points along the bottom of each module; unlike hardware, each patch point has a built-in attenuator.
Also available as Dark Four, which substitutes the stepLFO with a fourth synth module.
These do NOT emulate or model the actual sound of any Doepfer or any other vintage hardware synth, they just borrow from the control design, layout and panel design of the Dark Energy/A-111-5.

32-bit, so will require jBridge, etc., (or a DAW that will bridge) for use on 64-bit systems.
The link on the website is to a Sync.com folder that also contains the .osm Synthmaker source 'schematics', so anyone with Synthmaker or Flowstone can alter it to suit. It's hoped that anyone who makes significant improvements will share the result with everyone.
As this was originally built for my own use only, there are no presets included; I wanted to come at the instrument anew each time, as one did with vintage analog hardware.
