Embryos for Kontakt 5 is a collection of urban field recordings and organic evolving textures.

Evolving layers of deep tuned sounds, automated and pulsing, blended with parking places, underground halls, a huge shopping centre, abandoned places, cars passing by, air conditioned devices, and more... All environments captured with a Sony PCM 100 field recorder, cut, lopped and delivered in "Embryos".

Why did we call it so? Because every patch here is an instant atmosphere builder, the perfect start for a new track. As the beginning of a new life, "Embryos" will give you a lot of inspiration.

Playable textures are presented in two forms: pulsing (single patches) and spacious (multi patches). You'll find all field recordings in the "Instruments" folder, all textures in the "Pulse & Atmo". Then, the "Multis" folder, which combines the two categories above, to extend the flexibility of this library.

Please use the mod wheel.

We hope using it will give you as much fun and joy as we felt while making it.

All in all is:

  • 643 MB unzipped.
  • 40 patches (nki/nkm).
  • 28 original files (long fields and textures).
  • built in the Free Photosynthesis Engine by Jeremiah Pena.
