NODAL - DoubleBass Quartet

The Nodal [Double Bass Quartet] consist of a large collection of vivid articulations. Recorded with natural dynamic movements. Some standard shorts and longs included, but mainly patches with timbral development or a freely forward-moving feel.

The Nodal series represents a new direction in sampled orchestral libraries. With its focus on timbral meeting points and harmonious nodal lines. It pushes the boundaries of traditional orchestral sample-libraries and creates a unique layered polyrhythm amalgamate.

The nodes meet and diverge, creating brief harmonious moments. By overlaying patches you get elaborate figurations. Standard long and short patches are also included.

Recorded in Fartein Valen, Stavanger. The hall is considered as one of the best sounding halls in the world, along with Musikverein in Vienna, Concertgebouw in Amsterdam or KKL in Luzern. The acoustics are insane.
