PA4 is the first plug-in to model wave propagation in helical springs.
The audio engine is built entirely upon the simulation of the inherent physical equations, without any approximations.
This gives innovative control over the springs, with fully-customisable parameters.
The modelling starts from a mathematical description of wave propagation in elastic helical structures.
The physical properties such as length, wire radius, and pitch angle are then mapped to the perceptual parameters.
From there, a discrete modal system is created with up to 4,000 modes for each spring.
