Padspheres is a little collection of 25 pads and atmospheres (hence its name) embedded in a plugin instrument. Use it as an inspiration igniter or to create big atmospheric pad chords. All the sounds in the plugin have a very space tone to them.

I highly recommend this. Great sounding plug and useful for Ambient/Chill productions - Lots of useful presets and aesthetically pleasing. A big thanks to the Dev(s) for this freebie.

Nice little ROMpler collection of 25 long slow ambient pads.

Has the standard ADSR and that's it.

If you want to do some ambient soundscapes, and get there quick, Padspheres is worth a look.

If you want to build your own unique sounds, go elsewhere.

I tend to disagree that it sounds good. I think it sounds shit. It is free so giving it a go and have your own opinion is a breeze, however there are a huge number of synths out there free, and with a lot of PAD presets, and for just a few bucks you will get a far more versatile synth for PADs. For free I would rather recommend the Full Bucket series or the free versions of Dune/Zampler. For a few bucks, test out Fathom (the mono version is free).

Oh, I forgot to mention the free synths from Uhe and Synth1. The real "monster" of PADs i believe to be Omnisphere, but that is off topic free.
